Create a project
You must first create a project before you can combine your process data and analyses.
A project comprises the data of an analysis model and the analyses based on this data.
Click
Home in the side panel to open the Home page.
Click
Create new project. The corresponding dialog opens.
Enter a project name in the Project input field.
In the Process mining approach drop-down menu, select whether you want to use case-centric process mining or object-centric process mining for this project. Note that you cannot change the process mining approach afterwards.
Enter an abbreviation in the Abbr. input field. If you do not enter an abbreviation, an appropriate abbreviation is automatically created.
An abbreviation helps you to find and to identify your project.
Select a color.
The color helps you to find and to identify your project.
You can optionally add a project description and a project owner to provide additional information about the project. The specified project information is displayed as a tooltip when you move the mouse pointer over a project name, for example.
Click Describe project. Additional options are displayed.
Enter a description in the relevant input field.
Enter a valid user name in the Owner input field.
Click Create.
Your project is created and available in the Project panel of the Analysis section. The new project is displayed with its name, color, and abbreviation in the panel header.
The Project panel includes all existing projects and the analyses created for the individual projects. Your new project is automatically selected and you can now create a data set and upload data. Click Create data set. Alternatively, you can assign an existing data set.
